Our Privacy Policy was designed with you in mind. How the notice is applied to you will depend on how you interact with us. For example, if:

  1. purchase a ticket to a workshop or camp with us, we will use the information you provide to us to fulfill our obligations and our Event Partners' obligations to you in providing that service and, where permitted, we will keep you updated on other events that may interest you ; And
  2. When you browse our sites, we use cookies to personalize your experience and hopefully provide you with a seamless experience.

What information do we have and where do we get it

We collect and store different types of information about you when you create an account, buy tickets, contact us and use our websites, apps and social media.

How we use your information and why

We collect and use your information for many reasons, such as to help you participate in workshops, seminars, camps, share news, for marketing and as otherwise required by law.

Who we share your data with and why

We may share your information with event hosts, such as the promoter or venue, as well as with other third parties associated with the service provided.

Your choices and rights

Among other rights, you can choose whether to receive marketing communications from us. You also have the right to access the information we have about you.

What information do we have and where do we get it

  • When you create an account, purchase a seat at an event, we will collect your information which, depending on the service we are providing, may include your contact and billing information.
  • When you use our websites or apps, we collect information such as the browser and device you are using, your IP address, your location, the site you came from, what you did and did not use our site / app for or the site you visit when you leave us.   • When you use a social media feature within our website or apps and post on social media platforms, the social media site will provide us with some information about you.
  • If you have accessibility requirements, we want to make sure you have the best experience when attending events. To do this, we need to collect details of your needs (which may involve providing information about your mental or physical health).
  • In the few cases where we collect personal information from children, we always ask for parental consent and we only collect such information for the purposes specified when we collect it.
  • We use suppliers who collect geodemographic data which help us to better personalize our services. If you'd rather we don't, please see the "Your Rights and Choices" section below.

How we use your information and why

  1. For the performance of our contract with you We use your information when you enter into a contract with us (for example to buy goods or a ticket) so that we can:
    • process your order
    • take payment, e
    • provide you with customer support.
  2. For our legitimate business interests
    • To conduct market research and analysis that help improve and personalize our products and services.
    • For our marketing purposes, unless your consent is required for such marketing (see section 3 below).
    • To send you customer service emails including booking confirmations and event reminders.
    • To prevent or detect illegal behavior, to protect or enforce our legal rights or as otherwise permitted by law. As such, we may use your information to prevent unfair attempts to protect tickets, misuse of our intellectual property (e.g. our brands or our event partners), fraud or other crimes.
    • To ensure the security of our operations and those of our event hosts.
    • To create a profile about you to help us personalize our services for you. For example, if you purchase event tickets and have consented to our marketing, we will let you know about other events that we think may be of interest to you. For more information, see the following section:
  3. Where you have given your consent
    • To contact you with information or offers regarding our upcoming events, products or services - this can be via email, push and web notifications, via SMS or social media platforms. You can change your marketing preferences at any time, see the "Your Choices and Rights" section below.
    • To provide personalized advertising and marketing communications on our websites and apps (see our  Cookie Policy  for more information).
    • To process your health data to meet your accessibility requirements, where specifically requested and explicit consent is provided.

Who we share your data with and why

  • Within Wonderwod and the affiliates that provide us with services such as marketing, profiling, reporting and technical support.
  • Our third party service providers (sometimes known as data processors) such as cloud computing providers who provide the IT infrastructure on which our products and systems are built.
  • We may share your information with our event partners so that they can organize the event and for other reasons described in their privacy policies. We will always call the event partners when you purchase a ticket and you will be given the option to sign up to receive marketing from them.
  • Third parties who provide goods and services purchased by you so that they can process and fulfill your orders.
  • Government agencies or other authorized bodies where permitted or required by law.
  • Any successor to all or part of our business.

Your choices and rights

Your choices

If you have given us your consent, you can withdraw it by proceeding as follows.

  • To stop receiving our marketing, you can change your preferences within your account, follow the unsubscribe instructions in any of the emails we send you or contact us and we will do it for you.
  • To disable the use of cookies and tracking tools, please see our  Cookie Policy .
  • To turn off location tracking and push notifications, you can change the settings on your device or keep your location off. To stop web push notifications, you will need to use your browser settings.
  • To object to personalization, you can change your preferences within your account. If this option is not available you can contact us and we will do it for you

Your rights

You also have rights to how your personal information is used, including:

  • The right to object to our data processing.
  • The right to request that your information be deleted or restricted from further use.
  • The right to request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • The right to correct, modify or update the information you have provided to us (if you have an account with us, you can also do so by logging in and updating your information).
  • The right to challenge any automated decisions we make about you. An automated decision is a decision made without any human intervention that has legal consequences (eg credit check). We generally do not perform automated decision-making but, if we do, we will clarify where those decisions are made.

To exercise any of the above rights,  please contact us . Please note that while we will carefully evaluate every request we receive, we may not always be required to comply. When that happens, we'll explain why.

Take care of your information

We have security measures in place to protect your information. The security measures we use will depend on the type of information we collect.

We only keep your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the requested services, for the purposes described in this policy, and for any legal purpose for which we are obligated to keep the information. We will securely delete your information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, in line with our company policies.

As a British company, we rely on shared services, some of which are located outside of Europe.  When transferring information in this way, strict rules are in place to ensure that the data is still protected to a high standard. Where we do so, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including, where required, one of the mechanisms listed below.
